We went to a very fun Harvest Party at a friend's house. I neglected to take any other pictures after the goats, but there was great food, fun costumes, glowing pumpkins, apple cider and warm fires. Oooh, and cupcakes. Yumm.
The goats were quite the attraction.
Leon commented on their eyes and how funny they looked.
Silas was not too sure about sticking his hand out...
This billy had a lot of hair...quite impressive.
Now, I wish I had gotten a picture of Leon with Wondergirl, as he called her. She must have been about 5 and was dressed like Wonderwoman, and in shorts no less in the cold! He was smitten as soon as he saw her. He took my hand and was telling me we had to go with her and after she ran off asked if we could find her, and went to make friends as soon as he could.
They spent a lot of time playing and eating cupcakes...and he gave her a hug goodbye at the end of the night. She leaned over and kissed him on the cheek. He keeps talking about her too, lol, and wants to go to her house and get candy and play with her again. So funny. I'm glad to see he's not entirely shy around other kids now. There were a bunch of other children too, and the boys ran around and played hard for a long time...it was hard to drag them away, and so fun to let them play with older kids and not have to worry about them mauling on someone, hah.
The stars out there in the country were amazing too. We'll be making a return trip soon.
