Leon's little pre-school workbook got buried for a bit on the buffet. So we got it back out and he picked a "game" to work on. Color fruits and veggies and put them in the appropriately colored cart. He worked so hard, off and on all day.
Got them colored, and then started on the carts without checking, and got upset later when they weren't the right color. I fixed the green one at the bottom, we scraped off some of the color, and then I had to try to comfort him and reassure that orange is very close to yellow and it would be ok.
So he finally calms down. And cuts out all the little pieces. And we play the game. Whew. He was so proud he did all that! And notice the special blue corn. Maybe because of the blue chips we eat sometimes?
