Thank goodness Israel saw Dad hiding behind Anna Kaye in the other pictures, or we wouldn't have gotten any decent ones. Bad show. (Can you tell I'm still bitter about it? Hah.)
This is the best one anyway.
Then Leon fell off the stool, and that was that.
The traditional Ben/Aaron pic.
Oh me, these boys.
The food was amazing as always. Chicken and dumplings, mashed taters, fresh creamed corn, and sweet tater rolls along with everything else. Our house contributed the slaw, rolls and taters.
Leon had a little crush on this gal....or maybe he's too trusting when Daddy says if you kiss her she'll come to life.
Those boys getting into trouble...
Mmm, full.
Leering...
Oh my, what a cake! The boys were entranced.
Those alluring chocolate eggs. Silas went back later and ate a bunch when I was downstairs and not looking.
Leon likes to climb these days.
Back yard whiffle ball...look at that swing! No wonder it went way over the house! Nice one.
Sometimes the pitcher's a little off...
Granmarmee made special treat bags, and there was no way Silas was letting go of that thing!
I think this is how we all felt after such an eventful day. Not to mention that Aaron fell catching a pop fly and came down on a 2 x 6 on end, right on his rib cage. Later the doc said it was probably cracked or contused...pain meds are his best friend.
