Flea Market, Puppy Dogs

We went back to Webster's to pick up the puppies. There was a plethora of fresh veggies.

We bought kale and melons and eggplant and mangoes and honey and tomatoes/cukes/peppers and orchids and lots of other things.

We staggered back tot he car and went to pick up the babies.

The puppies were glad to be home. They are Morkie sisters - Maltese and Yorkie.

Lucy didn't quite know what to think of them at first, on account of them being so tiny. As the week went on she figured out how to gently play with them, it was fun to watch.

And so the week with Grammy and Pawpaw begins.

  1. I love all these pictures! We returned to Florida in May, too... but just to the NW corner. I so enjoyed watching the beauty of the water... like you, I'd somewhat forgotten its pull.

Talking of "the grove"... that's not the grove where you were married, is it? Did that make it into the giant shopping area or did that fall by the wayside when the economy tanked?

    1. Any reference to "the grove" now refers to my Grandma Mary's property (my mom's side) in between Winter Garden and Clermont. We spent a ton of time there growing up, and it still feels like going home.

The development did happen and is still growing. It stays very busy, it's the go-to place for the west side of Orlando. http://www.wintergardenvillage.com/ I actually went over there a tad - the sorrow has faded enough to "enjoy" what's there, a Joann's included. We decided from GPS spots that we got married at one of the entrances next to the bank, and Aaron has talked about installing a tiny sign on the pole there to commemorate our day, hah. Maybe next time.
