The boys help to husk out some mustard seeds from last year. They are good for planting, pickling or cooking - the seeds, not the boys, lol.
Silas made a "twimmin' pool" in the back of the tricycle.
This is cilantro seed, or coriander. I saved a ton of that from last year too. Once it gets established in a spot it self sows and you pretty much have it all year! Love it.
Daddy tilled up the garden for us.
The boys have the best fun following along after mowing or tilling.
Then I have to take the soil from looking like this, with clumps of grass and weeds...
...to this, sifted and raked smooth. It takes a lot of time.
This year there was a ton of grass in a large area, and it is taking forever to clear. But at least we can start planting now, woot!
