We had a visitor today, one that would make our neighbor Vickie get the chills.
Jus' a harmless lil 'ole brown yard snake, is all.
I'm afraid the boys love these guys a little too much, but am happy to report this one was freed, still alive and uninjured, with a minimum of screaming with sadness. Silas takes the releases pretty hard.

This is serious business.
Momma says, 'You had better share that snake!' (As Leon yanks it away.)
Meanwhile Aaron is way above our heads. Literally.
He's a hardworkin' man.
Still smiling after a whole summer of scraping and painting.
Hard to believe that soon these beauties will be gone with the frost.
