Last night we watched a documentary about North Korea. Called "A State of Mind," it was fascinating to watch the lives of 2 school girls, ages 11 and 13, as best friends who are preparing for the Mass Games.
The whole mindset of the country is a sight to behold, and their discipline is amazing! Sometimes it can be hard to avoid judging other people for how they live and what they do...this helped to gain a small understanding of the Koreans and their independance and perseverance, as well as reveal our selfish laziness at times as Americans.
This was fun and interesting...there is a lot of gymnastics and the footage of the events is astounding.
