Garden Day

Here's an old blog post I found here, when I tried to post once and got frustrated with the formatting. Let's see if it does any better now. Goodness, how our Baby has grown!

Today we planted a ton of things in the garden. Not knowing what else to do with Boy,
we brought him out to enjoy the sun. And dirt.

Well, not too much, oh well. I can hardly believe this is over three years ago!

Garden Day

I haven't been around in a while, but I'm getting the urge to blog again. Therefore I might be doing a lot of back posting, if ya don't mind. Plus I need to check up on old friends and get back in the loop again, if a certain someone pictured below will let me. *grin*

We're finally getting things planted in the garden to get a start on the year. Not knowing what else to do with Little Man, we brought him out with us to enjoy the fresh air. And dirt.

He had "the point" going on at the time.

I think he really enjoyed himself.

I think he looks so cute in his baseball cap.  He really likes the chickens, but they quickly lose interest when they realize there's no food and his fingers aren't nice treats to eat.

Felted Sweater Booties

(still back posting) So here are some booties I made for a friend on the birth of their first daughter a few months back. I've had two felted sweaters for over a year and finally ventured to cut into one.
I really love the heather purple color, and I must say the felt was wonderful to
work with - so much nicer than the sheet stuff. I will be on the hunt for more.

They adored them and I hope it will be a fun heirloom thing for baby Laura.
With three older brothers she is going to be so spoiled!
